Reliance Jio offers 900GB of 4G Data with new iPhone

Reliance Jio today announced their partnership with Apple to offer iPhone customers in India a number of tempting offers. These offers include complimentary Jio service worth INR 18,000 for retail customers and a 25 percent discount for enterprise customers. The announcement follows Airtel’s move to offer 10 GB of free data per month for one year to all iPhone 7 buyers if they subscribe to any of Airtel’s Infinity Plan. Every customer purchasing an iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus or iPhone SE at Reliance Digital and select Apple Premium Resellers (APR) and Apple Authorized Resellers (AAR) are entitled for the offer.

In particular, users will be entitled for unlimited 4G data and a premium subscription to all Jio apps for free. The total value of the bundle is about INR 18,000. So until 31 December 2016 the iPhone users will enjoy the benefits of Jio’s Welcome offer. And from 1st January 2017, users will get the benefits of Jio’s INR 1499 monthly plan that offers: unlimited voice calls, 20GB of 4G monthly data cap, unlimited 4G data usage at night, 40GB of Wi-Fi data at Jio hotspots, unlimited SMS, and subscription to Jio’s apps. So, overall you get 300 GB of free 4G data and 600 GB of Wi-Fi Data when including the Jio Welcome & iPhone Offer.

Good news is that these iPhones will not be locked to the Jio network in any way, and that customers are free to use other service providers if they do not want to take advantage of the free service.
