Samsung has refreshed the “J” series lineup in India with the launch of Galaxy J5 2016 and Galaxy J7 2016. Both the handsets come packed with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI running on top of Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and support 4G (LTE Cat. 4). Both these phones have S Bike mode that was introduced with the J3 (2016) and Ultra data saving (UDS) mode powered by Opera Max that compresses cellular data across all contents. Interestingly both the devices are equipped with a 5 Megapixel front facing camera with an LED flash and a f/1.9 aperture.
The Galaxy J5 (2016) is priced at INR 13,990 and the Galaxy J7 (2016) at INR 15,990. Both the phones will be available exclusively via Flipkart from May 10 in Radiant Gold, Midnight Black and Pearl White colour variant. Samsung is also offering double data (up to 30 GB) free to Airtel users.
