Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime, J5 Prime launched in India

Samsung has launched the all new Galaxy J7 Prime and Galaxy J5 Prime in India. The smartphones are the latest additions to the company’s mid-budget J series. Both the phones have a has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and unibody metal design. The Galaxy J7 Prime and Galaxy J5 Prime pack features like the S Bike mode and ultra data saving (seen on all Galaxy J series smartphones).

Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime is an upgraded version of the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) and features a fingerprint sensor on the home button. The J7 Prime also features a full-HD display instead of an HD display, more RAM (3GB RAM instead of 2GB), more inbuilt storage (32GB instead of 16GB), and a higher resolution selfie camera (8MP instead of 5MP).

  • 3300mAh battery

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime comes in Gold and Black colors and is priced at INR 18,790. It is available from retail stores across India and Samsung online store.

Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime

The Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime is an upgraded version of the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016), and features a fingerprint sensor on the home button. Other differences are minor but the only difference worth noting is that the Galaxy J5 Prime has a significantly smaller battery, at 2400mAh, compared to the 3100mAh battery on the Galaxy J5 (2016).

The Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime comes in Black and Gold colors, is priced at INR 14,790 and will be available from September-end.
