Samsung Galaxy Tab S Series With Super AMOLED Displays Launched in India

Samsung has launched its two latest tablets — Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and 8.4 in the Indian market at Rs 37,800 and Rs 44,800, respectively. The Wi-Fi+3G versions of the two tablets will be available starting second week of July, with LTE version coming at a later time. The tablets have a WQXGA (2560x1600p) display, powered by Exynos 5 Octa processor running a 1.9 GHz QuadCore and 1.3 GHz QuadCore running simultaneously. Running Android 4.4 KitKat, they will both have 8 MP rear cameras. The tablets come with voice calling and are LTE (FDD) compatible. There is internal storage of 16GB which can be raised to 128GB with an external card.

The tablets offer software features like SideSync 3.0, allowing users to make and receive calls and share content through their Galaxy S5 phones; a multi-user mode that allows 8 user profiles; and a Kids Mode. The Galaxy Tab S tablets are being launched with a special introductory offer on Reliance, with 9GB of free data for three months, along with access to 1,000 movies through BigFlix.
