SanDisk launches world’s fastest SD card in India

With the launch of next generation cameras which are capable to shoot 4K videos, there arises a need for secondary memory to adopt that level. If the storage can’t read or write at the same pace, the user will never be used to get benefit of the improvement from the camera, that’s the reason why SanDisk announced their new product which they claim as the world’s fastest SD card.

SanDisk Corporation observing the launch of new professional and consumer cameras in the market found the right time and launched the SanDisk Extreme Pro UHS-II card in India with latest high performance specification.

SanDisk has prepared their latest product Extreme PRO UHS-II SD card to offer write speeds up to 250 MB/s and read at 280 MB/s for maximum efficiency. This new SD card is UHS Speed Class 3 (U3) which allows high-quality 4K, 3D and Full HD video recording at sustained 30MB/s.

SanDisk memory cards are tested to perform in extreme temperature conditions and comes backed by a lifetime limited warranty. he cards also include a one-year downloadable offer for RescuePRO Deluxe media recovery software, which helps photographers recover their images in case of accidental deletion.

To match this read/write speed there has to be a card reader/writer for maximum efficiency. SanDisk along with the SD card announced the SanDisk Extreme PRO SD UHS-II Card Reader/Writer to handle the high-performance demands of UHS-II card technology. This reader/writer features a USB 3.0 interface, which can transfer card content up to 500MB/s, roughly 10 times faster than an ordinary USB 2.0.
