Vivo S1 with 6.38-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display, in-display fingerprint sensor launched in India

After the recent announcement by Vivo, the company has finally launched its new device, the Vivo S1 into the Indian market. The device mainly has some key innovative features and Vivo says that the ‘S’ in the Vivo S1 stands for style. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio P65 and is the first device in India to have this processor. Along with that, the device comes with 4GB and 6GB RAM variants. It sports a 6.38-inch FHD+ display up on the front and runs on Funtouch OS 9 based on Android 9.0.

The Vivo S1 has a plastic body and has a triple lens rear camera setup. It has a 16MP Sony IMX499 sensor primary sensor with f/1.78 aperture along with an 8MP wide-angle camera with f/2.0 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it has an in-display fingerprint sensor and a 32MP f/2.0 aperture selfie camera in the waterdrop notch. It comes with a 4500 mAh battery which supports 18W fast charging.

The Vivo S1 is available in Skyline Blue and Diamond Black colors. It is priced at Rs.17990 for the 4GB+128GB variant, Rs.18990 for the 6GB+64GB variant, and Rs.19990 for the 6GB+128GB variant. The device will go on sale from tomorrow starting with the 4GB+128GB variant.
