This week Vivo has sent out invites for the event where it will launch Vivo V5 Plus smartphone and is rumored to launch a Lite variant of V5 Plus as well. The Vivo V5 plus is expected to feature a dual front facing camera setup, but it’s still not clear if the secondary camera will act as a depth sensor or a monochrome sensor. Although Vivo V5 plus will not be the first smartphone to feature a dual front-facing camera as in 2015 Lenovo had already experimented a dual front camera setup in its Vibe S1. But it will be interesting to see how Vivo can implement and make most out of this setup.
Vivo has been teasing Vivo V5 plus for some time now and the smartphone went on pre-order in Malaysia recently, and now the smartphone has gone official on Vivo website. So lets wait till Monday to get offical note on pricing, specifications, and availability. But it will be interesting to see how Vivo can implement and make most out of this dual front camera setup.
