Vivo X60 and X60 Pro with 6.56-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, Exynos 1080, Zeiss optics announced

Vivo has announced the new X60 and X60 Pro Series smartphones in China. The phones feature a 6.56-inch FHD+ HDR10+ E3 AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 240 Hz sampling rate, 32-megapixel camera inside, and a screen-to-body ratio of 92.7%. The Vivo X60 series is the first to be powered by the Exynos 1080 5nm SoC with Samsung’s integrated 5G.

The X60 Pro features four rear-facing cameras with Zeiss optical lenses, including a 48-megapixel main camera with a Sony IMX598 f/1 aperture.48 with second-generation OIS 4-axis vibration protection, a 13-megapixel portrait camera, a 13-megapixel wide-angle camera with a 120° viewing angle, and 2.5mm macro support, and an 8-megapixel camera with a 125mm telephoto periscope lens with up to 60x zoom. X60 is missing the periscope camera. Other camera functions include restoring old photos and color reproduction. The Vivo X60 supports 1x, 2x multifocal motion detection and the Vivo X60 Pro supports 1x, 2x, 5x motion detection.

The X60 series features a two-tone design and Satin AG technology, which Vivo believes offers not only a sleek, sophisticated look but also a visually enhanced, virtually fingerprint-free design. The Vivo X60 is the thinnest 5G phone to date, with a body thickness of only 7.36 mm, according to the company.

The price of the vivo X60 is ¥3,498 (about US$535 / Rs. 39,290) for 8 GB + 128 GB, ¥3,798 (about US$581 / Rs. 42,660) for 8 GB + 256 GB and ¥3,998 (about US$612 / Rs. 44,905). for the high-end version of 12GB + 256GB, while the vivo X60 Pro is priced at 4,498 RMB (approximately US$688 / Rs. 50,510) for the basic version of 12GB + 256GB. They can be ordered and are available from 8 o’clock. January goes on sale in China. The vivo X60 Pro+ with Snapdragon 888 will be launched at the end of January 2021.
