Right now we only got a ‘Reply’ option at the notification center. But WhatsApp is working on that update to give a new ‘Mark As Read’ option along with the ‘Reply’ option.
As we can see that, the new option is added just along the ‘Reply’ option. This feature will surely help the users to see and read directly from the notification center. It’ll save the hassle of opening the app and simply leave it.
WhatsApp is also planning to bring anew ‘Mute’ button along with ‘Mark As Read’ option. So users can easily mute any ongoing chats directly from the notification center. But there is no clue about its working or its position.
All these features are still in development, so we cant say when it’ll roll out for the users.
