Xiaomi has launched Mi Air Purifier 2, its first Mi Ecosystem product in India. The Mi Air Purifier 2 by Xiaomi is the second model of the Mi Air Purifier that was launched not too long ago for its home market, China.
The Mi Air Purifier 2 measures in at 520x240x240mm, and weighs 4.8kg including the filter. Xiaomi claims that the purifier can remove 99.9% PM2.5 particles and can produce 10,000 litres of clean air. The air purifier has three modes of operation – auto, night (sleep), and manual. And can be controlled via Mi Home app, which is available for both Android and iOS. The Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier 2 features a triple-layer that promises to remove 99.99% of PM2.5 particles and produces about 10,000 liters with Clean Air Delivery Rate of 330m3/h in standard mode and 338m3/h in active mode. The triple-layer filter is fitted in a cylindrical shape for 360-degree filtering and features a PET pre-filter, an EPA filter, and an activated carbon filter.
The Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier 2 is priced at INR 9999 and will go on sale in India on September 26, at 12 pm on Mi.com only. This will be followed by a sale on Mi.com and Flipkart.com on October 2 at 12 am. The replacement filter costs Rs. 2499, which has about 6-month lifespan based on your use.
