Xiaomi Mi TV 4 (55-inch) with 4.9mm thickness launched in India for INR 39999

After years months of waiting, Xiaomi has finally launched its Mi TV series in India. Starting with the launch of Mi TV 4, it is the first TV, Xiaomi is launching in country outside China. The Mi TV 4 was showcased in CES last year and was launched in China in May last year. The most innovative and interesting fact about Mi TV 4 is that it has a super slim almost frameless design with 4.8mm thickness which is about 38% slimmer than the Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphone. The SmartTV comes preinstalled with AI-powered Patch Wall UI that has been redesigned for the Indian market and it offers personalized recommendations and universal search.

The Mi TV 4 features a 55-inch LED 4K (3840×2160 pixels) display with HDR support. The display panel features a 60Hz refresh rate and offers a viewing angle of 178-degrees and has a response time of 8ms. The Mi TV 4 is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Amlogic Cortex-A53 SoC clocked up to 1.8GHz, coupled with Mali-T830 graphics with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage.

The Smart Mi TV 4 comes with an 11-button remote that also has Bluetooth connectivity. The Mi TV remote combines Smart TV and Set Top Box experience seamlessly with Mi IR Cable that you have to simply Plug-n-Play with no configuration required. So technically only 1 remote can control Online Media streaming and STB channels under one Patch Wall UI with no need of switching between HDMI ports to change media source. As of now, Xiaomi is supporting all the major set-top box service providers out of the box that includes 35K+ DTH/Cable operators across 48 different brands.

Xiaomi Mi TV 4 (55-inch) is priced at INR 39,999 and will be available exclusively from Flipkart as well as Mi.com and Mi Home Stores starting 22nd February 2018. Xiaomi is also bundling 3 months subscription to Sony LIV and Hungama, a free Mi IR cable and free on-site installation till 31st May 2018.
