Meizu MX4 Pro Unboxing And First Impressions!

Meizu, a Chinese Phone Manufacturer who has gained a lot of popularity for its relatively lost cost – quality products, just announced the Meizu MX4 Pro last month and here we have to for your unboxing experience.

Unboxing :

The Meizu MX4 Pro is packed in typical Meizu fashion – we get a region specific power brick inside. The booklet style is still equally present here. The Meizu MX4 Pro sits inside there below which there is a standard USB 2.0 cable connected. A slot to hold earphones is present, while it remains empty for review units.

Opening the booklet reveals the device which continues Meizu’s legacy of flagship devices – the MX4 Pro sits there. The very first impressions of the device suggest that it is noticaebly lighter – infact the difference is so much apparent that i had to check inside the back cover, which is removable – if that battery was installed or not.

When it comes to pure aethetics, the MX4 is a show stopper of sorts. It looks handsome – the 5.5inch 2K+ display is one of its marquee features here. Also worth noticing is the addition of a fingerprint scanner integrated into a newly incorporated physcial home button.

Pressing down on the home button takes you to what Meizu calls Flyme OS. Ther version the MX4 Pro comes with is the Flyme OS 4.1. It looks really interesting, similar to what one may have come across in design to the MIUI and ColorOS.

Taking a quick look at the fingerprint scanner shows the attention to detail here. Meizu went out of the way to implement a solution that is worth using in day to day operations. Setup is extremely easy and so is its usability. The fingerprint scanner is covered with saphire crystal to enhance its longevity.

Overall we are very impressed in what we experience using the device within the first day or two. We shall be bringing more updates on the Meizu MX4 Pro and some more exciting Meizu news in the coming days so stay tuned for more!
