Lava Magnum X604 With 6-Inch Display, Android 4.4.2 Launched at Rs. 11,999

Indian smartphone manufacturer Lava has announced a new 6-inch Android smartphone – Magnum X604 priced at Rs. 11,999. The new Lava smartphone supports dual-SIM, runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat and is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM. The Magnum X604 has a 2800 mAh battery which can give up to 8 hours of talk time and 200 hours of standby time. It offers dual SIM (3G+2G) capabilities and comes with a host of connectivity options like 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, EDGE and GPRS.

Lava Magnum X604 will be available in white and black colours. The phablet is expected to hit national retail chain stores and multi-brand outlets across India very soon. It will be available online exclusively at Snapdeal.

Comparison with other smartphones in the same price group: 

The Lava Magnum X604 will compete with the Micromax Canvas Doodle 3 A104, which has the same display size . Priced at Rs 9,000, it has relatively lowers specifications like a FWVGA display, a dual-core processor and a 5-megapixel rear and VGA front-facing cameras.

The other option could be the Intex Aqua Octa, which is priced at approximately Rs 15,000. It features Mediatek’s “true” octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM and a 6-inch 1080p display. It also has a 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front-facing cameras. Though Intex Aqua Octa has better specifications but it is expensive than Lava Magnum X604.
