Paranoid Android to bring System-wide Pop-Up Multi-tasking in their newest versions.

PA’s Paul Henschel recently posted a demo to YouTube highlighting the feature working with various apps on both an Android tablet and a Nexus smartphone, with a post to Google+ stating that it shows less than ten percent of the planned functionality.

He stated :

“We think these [Samsung, Cyanogen & Cornerstone] implementations suck and we want to get it right this time.”

We see how advanced and heated up the race to master multitasking has got on smartphones – Android to be specific with giants like Samsung trying to bring effective and innovative ways to wrap the vanilla Android experience in its own interface.

We would really like to see how this takes off and sets a new benchmark in showing one of the many possibilities of Opensource goodness.
