Honor 6 Plus and Honor 4X launched in India for Rs. 26,499 and Rs. 10,499 respectively

Huawei’s sub-brand, Honor has launched two new smartphones in India – the Honor 6 Plus and Honor 4X. The smartphones were earlier announced in December. Both these smartphones will come with free ‘app gifts’ from freecharge, hungama, coupondunia and yatra.com. The company also claims to provide a free screen replacement for the first month and will provide warranty for rooted devices as well.

The Honor 6 Plus sports a 5.5-inch Full HD 1080p display along with 32GB of onboard storage with a microSD slot expanding the total storage up to 128GB. The handset features dual-SIM capability and is powered by 1.8GHz Kirin 925 SoC paired with 3GB of RAM. Honor 6 Plus features two 8MP cameras on the rear with wide f/0.95  aperture and a 8MP camera on the front. The final image produced is a 13 MP image that takes the best of both lenses and is stitched together with the help of the dedicated Image Signal Processor used on board.  It runs the Android 4.4 KitKat with Emotion UI 3.0 and comes with a huge 3600mAh battery supporting reverse charging.

Along with the flagship, Honor also launched their Honor 4X mid-range smartphone in India. Honor 4X sports a 5.5-inch HD display and is powered by the 64-bit Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage with a microSD slot. The 4X features a 13MP camera on the rear and a 5MP camera on the front. The smartphone runs on a 3000mAh battery with dual-SIM 4G support.

The handsets have been priced at Rs. 26,499 and Rs. 10,499 for Honor 6 Plus and Honor 4X respectively. The smartphones will be available exclusively from Flipkart.com starting March 30, 2015 for Honor 4X whereas Honor 6 Plus shall be available starting April, 2015.
