The Pebble smart watch enables users to receive updates from their Android and iOS smart phones through Bluetooth and became an instant hit when still in it’s funding phases. Now, quite a while later, it is starting to show progress as it will start shipping to Kickstarter backers on January 23.
The SDK will provide users with several useful functions, such as designing different clock faces for the lower powered eInk display. Developers will also be able to provide support for the Pebble inside their applications. No word yet on as to when the Pebble smart watch will be available to the public.
