Lava announces its new flagship Iris504q in India for ₹13,499

The budget quad-core smartphone competition got one more participant. Lava Mobiles on June 15th 2013 announced their flagship model in India which will be called the Lava Iris 504q.

Lava Iris 504q is a quad-core Android running smartphone with 1 GB RAM and 4 GB internal memory. It features 8MP BSI sensor camera with 2MP front-facing camera for video calls and video chat. The device sports a 5-inch IPS HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution. It also supports dual sim standby and 3G, Wifi, GPS and the other usual stuff. The internal 4GB memory can be expanded upto 32 GB via a microSD card. The upper selling point of this device is gesture controls which at the time work for FM Radio, Music Player, Camera and Gallery. The also supports USB on-the-go which makes it easy to access flash drives without a computer. The smartphone is powered by a 2000mAh battery and comes with smart flip cover as the optional accessory.
