We’ve heard of reports of Motorola over the few months, that it has been releasing various “projects” to select users in the “Motorola Feedback Network” for their Motorola Xoom tablet and those projects have been testing of minor updates and bug fixes but recently we have come to know that the projects are more than just minor updates, it seems they are testing the roll out of Ice Cream Sandwich. Yes, you heard it right Motorola is testing the latest Android update Ice Cream Sandwich.
The folks over at Android Central have got hold of a confirming screenshot which has the version number at the “base install” of Android 4.0.3, which makes sense as the Xoom was always a “Nexus-class” device for Motorola and Google and if we see the history of such testings then we are sure to believe that it won’t be long when we get to see the latest Android update for the tablet.
