News: Samsung Galaxy S II gets a CyanogenMod 10 Jelly Bean custom ROM

The work at Android 4.1 Jelly Bean based custom ROMs have been going at a swift pace it seems after recently the source code of the latest Android iteration hit the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) and very quickly we saw the folks at CyanogenMod teasing us with some Jelly Bean based CM 10 action on an Optimus 4X HD and now a developer, Codeworkx, of CyanogenMod fame has managed to bring out a very early build of CM 10 for Samsung’s last year flagship, Galaxy S II.

The developer warns us himself that the build is not for everyday use with quite a lot of bugs, mostly with the audio that is very much obvious when it comes to early nightly builds. The developer says this:

#include /*
* Your warranty is now void.
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
* Submitting bug reports on nightly builds is the leading cause of male impotence.
*/

So you already know the risks involved with an unstable ROM such as this but if you still want to taste some Jelly Bean then hit the source link below and follow the instructions closely.

ICS custom ROMs took a lot of time to reach the stable state with only recently we seeing stable CM 9 builds but that was expected since ICS was a major revamp for Android and we hope we see some Jelly Bean stable ROMs pretty soon.
