Micromax Launches Canvas Win W121 and W092 powered by Windows Phone

At Microsoft’s BUILD conference in San Francisco in April, Micromax partnered with Redmond firm to launch Windows powered smartphones under its banner in India. Now, the firm has announced two budget Windows Phone 8.1 handsets named as Canvas Win W092 and Canvas Win W121, priced at INR 6,500 and INR 9,500 respectively and will be available from July. Ranked number two in India, Micromax has so far sold smartphones based on Google’s Android operating system. It is the first domestic original equipment maker (OEM) to launch smartphones powered by Windows 8.1 OS.

Powered by the new Windows Phone 8.1 operating system and a Snapdragon 200 processor by Qualcomm Technologies, the Canvas Win W121 & Canvas Win W092  absorb best of Microsoft, Qualcomm and Micromax, offering great performance, great mobile experience and a multitude of features for work and fun.
