News : Nokia launches Lumia 510 first in India as a Diwali Gift for Indian youth

Nokia unveils their new budget addition to the Lumia series, Nokia Lumia 510 with its first global launch in India. According to Nokia, the smart phone itself is the Diwali Gift to India at a price lesser than any Lumia available without compromising in the features. The pricing of the device is still not known but it will be less than 11k INR as confirmed Nokia India’s Director and Head Smart phone devices, Vipul Mehrotra. This Lumia will will featuring a 4-inch display with WVGA resolution (480×800 pixels) and a 5-megapixel rear camera but no front-facing camera. It will be powered by a 800MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 processor with 4GB internal memory and 256MB of RAM run by a 1,300mAh battery. Nokia is also bundling with airtel to provide three-months of 500MB 3G data usage to make the users experience their premium services like Nokia Music and MixRadio.
The main target for this device is the Indian youth who can now have the windows phone experience at a reasonable price. The device is expected to land in markets in about 2 weeks from now, just before Diwali.
