Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 arriving in India [Watch Live Webcast]

After iterating through the complete smartphone series, it’s time for the tablets. Samsung will be launching the next Galaxy Tab in India tomorrow on 18th July 2013 at an press event in New Delhi.

Last month Samsung announced the Tab 3 at an event in London. Though the event had 7, 8 and 10.1 inches variant but it looks like there will be only 7 and 8 inches variant coming in India.

7-inch Tab 3 Specifications:

  • 7-inch WSVGA (1024×600 pixels) display
  • Dual-core 1.2GHz Marvell processor
  • 1GB RAM
  • 3-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front camera
  • 8GB internal storage
  • 4,000mAh battery
  • Android 4.1 Jelly Bean

8-inch Tab 3 Specifications:

  • 8-inch WXGA TFT (1280×800 pixels) display
  • 1.5GHz dual-core Exynos 4412 processor, Mali 400 GPU
  • 1.5GB of RAM
  • 5-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera
  • 4,450mAh battery
  • 16GB internal memory
  • Android 4.2 Jelly Bean

Earlier reports suggest that Samsung will price the 7-inch tablet somewhere around ₹12,000 and the 8-inch tablet around ₹18,000 in India.
