Idea Cellular today launched the Idea Ultra+ and Fab – two attractive handsets in India post their recent success in selling devices bundled with attractive data plans. The smartphones are priced at Rs. 4,999 and Rs. 8,300 respectively.
The Idea Ultra + is the higher end version and runs on an unspecified 1.3GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM and it runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). a KitKat update may make it’s way eventually. A 2000 mAh battery would keep the phone juiced up. The resolution of the display is 480×854 pixels spread over a screen of 5 inches.
On the storage side, there is an internal storage space of 4GB, of which approximately 2GB is available for users, the Ultra+ also accepts microSD cards (up to 32GB).
Idea Cellular is also providing special benefits, with 1.6GB of 3G data and free Idea TV for 3 months with a pack priced at Rs. 259 for existing subscribers, and 1.6GB 3G data and free Idea TV for 3 months with a pack priced at Rs. 261 for new subscribers.
