Xolo X900 is remembered as the first Intel powered smartphone to hit the markets back in the day. The credit and legacy is now put upon a new smartphone by Xolo – the X1000 . The new smartphone is a worthy upgrade with a 4.7 inch 720p HD LCD screen and an Intel 2GHz Z2480 that we saw last on the Motorola Razr i.
The phone comes packed with a PowerVR SGX540 GPU for graphics and 1 GB of RAM to handle all the processes. However, the game changes as it faces stern competition from Samsung’s Exynos and Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 chips which fly at the same level.
The display given is an edge to edge curved glass which delivers 314 pixels per inch . The phone measures 9.1 mm in thickness and 140g on the weight. The cameras come similar from the Xolo 900 with an 8 megapixel rear camera capable of taking HD videos and burst shots a front facing 1.3 megapixel camera.
Memory-wise it comes with 8GB of onboard storage with 32GB microSD expansion capability. The phone is kept juiced up by a 1900mAh battery. However what might seem unacceptable to some is the fact that the device runs Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 and not JellyBean due to the fact that Intel chipsets are not optimized for the newer version. All other standard connectivity options like USB,WiFi , 3G and Bluetooth(2.1) are available .
