Samsung Mobile India today launched their flagship smartphone for 2014 in India – the Samsung Galaxy S5 along with the complete series of next generation Samsung Galaxy Gear wearables.
At an event in New Delhi, Samsung announced that India has approximately 35 million Galaxy devices in their pockets and it is expected to reach greater heights in future. Samsung Galaxy S5 is proudly is the first smartphone to have a camera with 0.3s shutter speed which was quite bragged about at the event.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 focuses on five pressure points which are Design, Speed, Camera, Life and Fitness. The Samsung Galaxy S5 features a 5.1-inches full HD Super AMOLED display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution in an iconic Samsung build with a perforated pattern on the back creating a modern glam look. It comes powered by the Samsung Exynos octa-core processor (Quad-core 1.9 GHz + Quad-core 1.3 GHz) with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal memory. It supports external microSD cards which can expand the storage up to 64GB.

Samsung Galaxy S5 as mentioned earlier has the fastest shutter speed in a smartphone camera category featuring a 16MP rear shooter and a 2MP wide angle lens front-facing. It comes with Selective Focus feature which makes it very easy to click a DOF picture. Galaxy S5 comes with a ultra power saving mode which literally fades out the device keeping only the calling and messaging active and even making the display monochrome which excessively saves the battery.
