Gaana.com which is the largest streaming service in India now brings a new version of the Gaana app on Android. This new version 2.0 brings a new subscription service and a new UI.
The subscription service gives you full access to all songs including an offline mode to enjoy your tracks in times of connectivity problems. This feature is available in Gaana+ which is the name of it’s premium counterpart.
The App also features a multi-bitrate function to bring you a balance between quality and buffering . Earlier this year, Times Internet had released Gaana+ for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, Gaana is the first music service in India to bring this premium feature set to Android.
The streaming quality has options from 128kbps to 320kbps to let the user choose what quality he/she prefers. The Gaana+ is free to try out for 14 days after which it costs 2.99$ a month in India and 4.99$ a month in other countries.
