galaxy s6We are almost there, Mobile World Congress is just around the corner and its about time that all the rumors are put to rest with official announcements. The Samsung Galaxy S6 will be the manufacturers flagship for the year of 2015. Things for Samsung haven’t been quite good, the Galaxy S5 did not meet the kind of response that company would’ve liked. A recent report claimed that the company has reached the least number when it comes to market share. This low was observed for the first time since 2011.

Samsung has scheduled a live stream on YouTube for the launch of the Galaxy S6. The promo reads “Join us live in Barcelona from wherever you are as we bring you The Next Galaxy at Unpacked”. The event will go live in about an hour since this article goes live. The Galaxy S6 is expected to be a fully loaded smartphone with a second Galaxy S6 Edge as well. The Galaxy is expected to come with a 5.1 inch QuadHD AMOLED display, 3 GB of RAM, a Snapdragon 810 64-bit OctaCore CPU. There would be a 16 MP OIS camera on the back and a 5 MP camera on the front. The Galaxy S6 Edge is expected to be spec’d in a similar way with screen being wrapped around the edges, much like the Galaxy Note Edge.
A lot is riding on these two devices, tune into the livestream below and we shall keep you updated with the happenings :
