One more add on to the Lumia Family, the recently announced Nokia Lumia 1020. After months of scattered news, Nokia finally put the spotlight on its new Nokia Lumia 1020 at a press conference in New York. With its sleek design it surely does look stylish.
This Smartphone features a 4.5-inch ClearBlack AMOLED Display with a resolution of 1020×768 pixels with a pixel display of 332ppi. This phone also features 3 capacitive touch buttons at the bottom of the screen.
This handset runs on WINDOWS Phone 8 operating system. This phone offers great multitasking with a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, 2GB RAM. It has 32 GB internal storage memory and 7 GB of cloud storage that can be accessed by Mobile Internet. It does not have a micro-SD slot, but the 32 GB internal memory makes up for it.
One of the main things about why this mobile was in talks is its amazing 41 – Megapixel camera. It includes a Carl Zeiss optics, optical image stabilization, Xenon flash for still images and an LED flash for Video. The camera has ND filter that helps you take pictures at an amazing resolution. The device also features full HD 1080p video recording and also features new Nokia Pro camera and smart camera modes. This phone has an enhanced audio system with Dolby Digital Plus feature.
As far as connectivity is concerned, this device is made to work on 2G, 3G and also 4G (LTE) networks. It has a Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. This device also sports a v4.0 Bluetooth with A2DP that allows multimedia streaming across various supporting devices. It supports GPS system for navigation purpose. The device has a non-removable battery which backs up the phone for a whole day use.
Nokia Lumia 1020 is all set to launch in the U.S on 26th July, 2013 for 299.99$ on contract. Still no news disclosed about the launch of the mobile in the Indian Market.
