The HP Slate 7 which was recently announced at the Mobile World Congress 2013 is a 7 inch tablet from HP running Android JellyBean 4.1. The Kindle Fire is probably its closest competitor, not least as the Slate 7 features the same screen resolution – 1,024 x 600 as well as a dual-core ARM Cortex-A9-based processor.The build quality of the device is decent and it comes in two fresh colors – a flashy red and a noble grey.
