Adding more to the existence, an official image of the Asus-branded Google Nexus 7 tablet is leaked on Google play store and is live right now. The Google tablet is supposed to be announced during Google I/O in San Francisco later today.
According to recent updates, these guys at Modaco managed to get a screen shot of the Google Play Store with specs leaked out Turns out that the rumors were true. The device features a quad-core Tegra 3 processor with 1GB of RAM running on latest Android v4.1 aka Jelly Bean. The tablet has a 1280×800 IPS display coated in scratch-resistant Corning glass, plus a front-facing 1.2-megapixel camera. It weighs about 340g with 198.5 x 120 x 10.45mm dimensions and will be available in 8gb ($199) and 16gb($249) memory variants. Connectivity solutions will be provided by MicroUSB, bluetooth, NFC and 802.11b/g/n WiFi. In the end, it will be powered by a 4325mAh battery which provides a backup of about 8 hours of active usage and include accelerometer, a magnetometer, and a gyroscope.
