SFO based Nextbit today launched the cloud-first smartphone in India called as the Nextbit Robin. Founded by the former Google employees Tom Moss, CEO and Mike Chan, CTO in 2013 as a software company also got into hardware in 2014 after they hired former HTC design chief, Scott Croyle as the VP of design and product.
Known for their app called as Baton which is now limited to Cyanogen OS for real-time syncing and sharing. The app is used for app data backup and restore. Nextbit launched their first smartphone in United States and have brought it to India today. Getting their software product tech on to a hardware, Nextbit launched Robin with its superpowers to eradicate the storage problems. Robin backs up apps and photos intelligently when the device is plugged in and is on WiFi. It also make sure that the irrelevant stuff is archived and backed up on cloud storage and easily restored when we need them.
