Samsung has launched it’s most affordable 4G VoLTE enabled smartphone Samsung Z2 in India. The device has been built from scratch by its R&D team in Bengaluru. The smartphone is the first 4G LTE smartphone from Samsung that runs Tizen OS. The device sports a 3.97-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and a VGA front camera. The Samsung Z2 is powered by a 1500mAh battery, and can deliver up to 8 hour of 4G browsing.
The Tizen OS is now improved with features like Samsung Ultra Data Saving Mode that claims to save up to 40 percent data. The recently introduced S-bike mode is featured as well. The Tizen App store now houses all basic applications like Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, CricBuzz etc.
The Samsung Z2 comes in Gold, Black and Wine Red colors and is priced at INR 4590. It will be exclusively available on Paytm and also through offline retail stores from August 29th.
Samsung Z2 customers can avail the Jio Preview Offer and can access Reliance Jio services like Jio Beats, Jio On Demand, and more free for 90 days with unlimited data and calling.
