Apple has finally rolled out the iTunes Store in India and Indonesia, which will offer music and movies from these countries as well as the international offerings.
Apple had launched iTunes Store in many parts of Asia in June, but had left out these two nations. The iTunes Store service has always been a hit in the US. However, now Indian consumers can too buy and pay for these content in their local currency.
In iTunes India Store offers individual songs priced at between ₹7-15 and whole albums from ₹70, which is pretty much cheap from what is available in the US or any other country per say. This is surely a big attempt from Apple and let’s see how this goes.
