The first major update for the cross platform messenger WhatsApp is now being rolled out, the version of the app has been updated to 1.5 and brings with it full support for group chat conversations. Although the previous version supported group chats but only if you were invited in the conversation, the latest update now allows Windows Phone users to create and modify conversations as well as group chats.
There are other major improvements as well such as the ability to delete long conversations, swift creation of favourites and faster insertion and removal of messages. Although the update brings some much needed features sorely missed in the previous version but still there are bugs needed to be fixed and the app still lacks some features among other counterparts.
