Nikon the world leaders in cameras launched their latest COOLPIX spring series 2013 on 19th April 2013. Timed with the entry of this new collection, the new marketing campaign titled ‘Simply WOW’ was also unveiled with the aim of highlighting the benefits and features of the new range built for consumers seeking superlative image quality with the ease-of-use of a compact camera. The theme of new TVC ‘Simply WOW’ highlights Nikon’s technological expertise, which is blended with a deep understanding of its consumers and is in sync with the brand’s philosophy. The TVC depicts a unique blend of style and advanced features that capture the imagination of the style conscious photography aficionados.
Nikon COOLPIX cameras integrate sophisticated automatic features, making digital photography more accessible to consumers and enabling anyone to take stunning pictures. From High Definition video recording to automatic capture of brilliant images, the latest array of cameras come in exciting colors and hues. The COOLPIX collection promises to complement the diverse shooting needs of every photography enthusiast, hobbyist or an amateur.

The launch included 17 new models with 69 color variants along with COOLPIX A. COOLPIX A is the first COOLPIX compact digital camera to be equipped with a DX-format CMOS sensor. It has capabilities comparable to those of a digital SLR camera in a compact body and a new and exclusively designed wide-angle 18.5mm[i], f/2.8 fixed focal length NIKKOR lens.
The COOLPIX P-series models, COOLPIX P520 and COOLPIX P330 comes power packed with high performance technology capabilities. While, high-power zoom camera COOLPIX P520 is equipped with a 42× optical zoom NIKKOR lens that is capable of super-telephoto shooting at the equivalent of a 1000mm focal length. The COOLPIX P330 comes with an effective pixel count of 12.2 million pixels and a large 1/1.7-in. backside illumination CMOS sensor which enables high sensitivities and less noise.
While the Stylish S series models boasts a range of features into a slim body, designed specifically to take beautiful photos easily. COOLPIX S-Series includes 9 new models (COOLPIX S9500, S9400, S6500, S5200, S4400, S3500, S3400, S2700 and S31) that will once again set an all-new benchmark for stylish functionality and outstanding features like Wi-Fi® compatibility & built-in GPS.
Robust and simple, the COOLPIX L-Series comprises of 4 models (COOLPIX L820, L320, L28 and L27) with feature like an ultra-high power optical zoom to automatic shooting functions that makes taking dazzling pictures easy.
The AW series has a new camera COOLPIX AW110, an outdoor camera built with waterproof resistance to a depth of 18m and advanced shooting support functions, Wi-Fi® enabled, built-in GPS & World map and shock-proof upto 6.6 feet is a perfect adventure companion.
Price and Availability:
The Nikon COOLPIX collection now has 22 models with the addition of 17 new models in the Spring 2013 collection. All 22 COOLPIX models are available across pan India.
- Nikon COOLPIX A is priced at Rs. 54,950.
- The P Series models (COOLPIX P7700, P520 and P330) are priced between Rs. 24,950 to Rs. 16,950.
- The S series models (COOLPIX S9500, S9400, S800c, S6500, S6400, S5200, S4400, S3500, S3400, S01, S2700 and S31) are priced between Rs. 18,950 to Rs. 5,950.
- The L Series models (COOLPIX L820, L320, L610, L28 and L27) are priced between Rs. 15,450 to Rs. 4,990.
- The AW series model (COOLPIX AW110) is priced at Rs. 16,950.
