It was just 999 days ago Huawei first introduced the Honor sub-brand to the world. And today Huawei has reached another milestone and the manufacturer states that it sold over 100 million Honor handsets since then. Also Huawei at an official press event announced that their latest Honor 8 flagship had already fetched a sales record of 1.5 million units since it was launched back in July this year. The 1.5 million figure also includes global sales for the Honor 8, which went up for preorder in the U.S. These figures are impressive and bear testament to the popularity the Honor brand has garnered in such a short span of time.
Just to recall The Honor 8 features a dual 12 Megapixel camera setup at the back just like the Huawei P9 sans the Leica branding and a few other changes as well as the same Kirin 950 SoC found on the Huawei Mate 8.
The Honor 8 is considered to be quite a good value for money handset and the Sapphire Blue variant looks quite attractive. The Honor 8 is available in the U.S. from the Honor website for $399.99 and we hope that Huawei launch the Honor 8 in India soon as well.
