LAVA announced the launch of their new smartphone Iris X5. The company is expecting Iris X5 to be as successful as their previous device of Iris X series Iris X1. This time LAVA has focused on the camera, both front and back. The device has a 5MP front camera with LED Flash that helps the user in taking high quality selfies, the flash can be very useful in case of bad lighting. Along with that the camera has Auto-Focus Omni BSI+ Camera Sensor with 4-Element Lens, Wide Viewing Angle (84°). On the back there is a 8MP camera with Auto-Focus Omni BSI-2 Camera Sensor that provides an exceptional imaging quality. The device has 5” HD (1280 x 720) IPS Display which makes the pictures look brighter and better. For protection the screen is fully laminated which reduces the risk of screen getting destroyed.
The device is powered by 1.2 GHz Quad Core and 1 GB RAM that is like the minimum requirement of users nowadays. It comes with 8GB of internal that is expandable up to 32GB via micro-SD card and it runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat.
The phone comes with an intelligent Flip cover powered by hall sensor that puts the phone automatically in sleep mode ensuring reduced battery consumption.
LAVA Iris X5 will be initially available in Grey and subsequently in white and black in the coming weeks and will cost Rs.8799
