ZTE has struck like a thunderous cloud at the MWC , and its raining Tablets and Smartphones in its press event. Since , it was not just satisfied with the revelation of 8 new Smartphones along with a skin , it just lifted curtains from 4 new Android Tabs – V9S , V96 , PF100 and T98.
The league consists of of 2 quad-core tablets: PF100 and T98 and 2 dual-core tablets : V9S and the V96. The TF98 features a nVidia T30S 1.5GHz quad core processor from the Tegra 3 line , HSPA connectivity via an Icera 450 modem , a 10.1″ display with WXGA resolution , a 5Mpx camera on the back , 1 Gb of RAM and 16 GB of storage while T98 has the similar specs with just a difference in the display which is a 7″ screen . Both these tabs feature Google’s Native Android 4.0 OS.
The V96 has a 1.7GHz dual-core with HSPA+ along with LTE . The rest of the specs are general like the 5MPx camera , 1GB RAM and 16GB of storage. Last in the family is the V9S , which is a low end tablet though having a 10.1″ display , 1.2GHz dual-core processor , 1 GB RAM and 16 GB of storage with support for GSM and UMTS networks ( no HSPA ) , but the strange fact here is that it comes bundled with Android 3.2 (HoneyComb) instead of the latest ICS OS.
ZTE has definitely stuck a nail down the throat of its competitors with all this unraveling and has promised t release these devices soon before the Q3 this year in the States.
