The very funky-looking MAD CATZ Cyborg M.M.O. 7 gaming mouse that was unveiled late last year is finally available now. Featuring 13 programmable buttons, a 3-position MMO switch as well as a 2-position MMO shift button, this mouse lets you bind up to 78 in-game commands – which should be more than enough to make sure you can select all the right spells and gear on the fly when you’re questing in your favorite MMO game.
If that’s not enough, the programmable 5D button and Cyborg ST software will give you access to a plethora of extra commands and bindings. The mouse is currently out of stock at the time of writing, but it will set you back a hefty $129.99
The closed-ear Cyborg Freq 5headset will sport “lightweight metal components” and a pair of 50mm neodymium drivers. A pair? Yep, this bad boy’s stereo sound only. Volume and equalizer controls sit on the outside of the cans.
The removable mic includes noise-cancelling technology so that your virtual buddies can hear you over the general din of a LAN party. Or, if you’re more the silent type, there’s a red LED at the tip of the mic that lights up when you’re muted. The FREQ 5 comes with both a 1-meter-long 3.5mm cord and a 2-meter-long USB cord, which you can quickly swap out if you want to use the headset with your MP3 player or smartphone instead of getting your game on. A nice $149.99 is what it would cost you to use this revolution of a headset.
