OPPO Joy

Oppo the leading chinese smartphone manufacturer launched expands its smartphone portfolio in India with the launch of their fifth handset the country. Oppo today launched Oppo Joy which is a budget smartphone priced in the under 10k segment targeting first time smartphone users and youth.

Adding OPPO Joy to OPPO R1, OPPO Find 5, Oppo N1 and OPPO Neo, the company now have five handsets for the Indian consumers as of May 7, 2014 which they claim to take higher to 10 products by the end of the year.

Features

OPPO Joy sports a 4.0-inch WVGA display with a nano coating on the handset. Joy is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor and is supported by 4GB memory which is further expandable via microSD slot up to 32GB and comes with 3MP rear camera. It also features a VGA (0.3MP) front-facing camera and packs a 1,700mAh battery.

Oppo Joy runs on ColorOS based on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and supports dual SIM standby. The Oppo Joy comes with an unique Hotknot technology, first time on any handset in India which securely and quickly does exchanges data using low power and fast transmission at zero additional cost.

OPPO service center

OPPO gives Joy an additional 5GB cloud storage through their own O-Cloud service. OPPO is also trying to expand their network targeting 200 new service centres in the country by next year with the much-anticipated Find7 is said to come this mid-year.

OPPO Joy is available in India for 8,990 in currently retailing cities – New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Kolkata, Pune and Lucknow.
