Chinese smartphone maker Oppo has debuted its new F series selfie centric smartphones in India called the OPPO F1 and OPPO F1 Plus.
The OPPO F1 has an Aluminium build body and slim design which gives premium look to the device. The OPPO F1 Plus features a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS display with scratch-proof 2.5D Gorilla Glass 4 on top. It will be powered by 1.7GHz Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 405 GPU and 4GB of RAM. The device has 16GB of internal storage along with a MicroSD card slot for expanding upto 128GB. On the camera front, it has a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, and dual LED flash and an 8MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture that can capture crisp selfies even in low light conditions. The device is backed by a 2,500mAh non-removable battery and supports fast charging option with the provided 5V/2A power adapter.
The OPPO F1 is priced at ₹15,990 and a high-end variant of OPPO F1 the OPPO F1 Plus comes with a price tag of ₹26,990. The device will be made available in Gold and Rose Gold color options. The OPPO F1 can be purchased starting from February 4th across India via offline stores. Along with this the manufacturer has also announced a OPPO branded Selfie stick that will be sold separately with the device.
The design is certainly the highlight of this device but we still have to figure out how capable the cameras are.
