You might think OnePlus have already forgotten 1+2 and they are just blind shots. But that’s not the case as OnePlus took to OnePlus forums to announce it has started the rollout of OxygenOS 3.1.0 for OnePlus 2. While the OnePlus 2 may be months away from a software bump, the latest update does bring some relief to the users. This update fixes the notification issues, improvements to Doze, security patch for August along with fixing the Quadrooter vulnerability and has a few changes to the alert slider. Though the latest update does not bring Android Nougat 7.0 to the devices or the VoLTE support.
Here’s what’s new in this update:
Fixed some notification issues
Improved Doze Mode performance
Added media sound toggle for alert slider
Addressed alert slider/silent mode issue
Implemented August 1 security patches for Android
Implemented Quadrooter patch
General bug fixes
