Leading Indian handset manufacturer Karbonn Mobiles has partnered with global e-commerce giant Amazon to sell the company’s flagship handset Titanium Hexa in India. Pre-orders for the device will start from May 13, 2014 and sales from May 20, 2014. Consumers who buy the phone through the website will also get a free Plantronics Bluetooth Headset with the purchase of the phone as part of a promotional offer.

Karbonn Titanium Hexa is the first Indian branded handset to boast a Hexa-core CPU. The only other rival to market this breed of devices in India is Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo which has Samsung’s Exynos Hexa-core (with with 1.7GHz dual-core A15 chipset + 1.3GHz quad-core chipset) which is expensive while Titanium Hexa ships with 1.5GHz MediaTek chipset.
