Previous reports and rumors had suggested that the phone-tablet hybrid by Samsung, the Galaxy Note, which launched at US with AT&T at CES, was going to be up for sale by 19th Febrauary and would go up for pre-order by 5th of the month. As expected the device is now up for pre-order at At&T and Best Buy online. The device goes for $299 with a new two-year contract. Expect the unit to ship by February 17, a couple of days before its official release date.
AT&T stores have a few accessories in store for the Note, notably a desktop docking station, a spare battery charger, and a flip cover case and pen holder. Speaking of the flip cover, if you head into Best Buy and pre-order your Samsung Galaxy Note, they will hook you up with one for free, and everyone loves free.
Galaxy Note on AT&T will run on the carrier’s 4G LTE network and pack a huge 5.3-inch Super Amoled display with a 800×1280 resolution, dual-core 1.5GHz processor, two-megapixel webcam, and an eight-megapixel main camera with LED flash.
