Sony Ericsson has officially announced the update schedule for its Android phones. The update will begin late March or early April of 2012. The some phones will receive the update before others. Here is the detailed planThe first set that will receive the update in late March or early April are:
- Xperia Arc S
- Xperia Nero V
- Xperia Ray
There will be a second wave of phones receiving the update near the end of April or early May. These phones are:
- Xperia Arc
- Xperia Neo
- Xperia Play
- Xperia Mini
- Xperia Mini Pro
- Xperia Active
- Live with Walkman
The updates will be available for download over 3G or Wi-Fi, with a tethered option also available. Sony does caution that not all updates will arrive simultaneously but this is good news for anyone with a SE device or looking forward to getting one.
