We have heard several rumours of an Apple television making its way for the last few years but the rumours have really picked steam this time. Well there are more news which take the rumours further stronger, according to DigiTimes, a taiwanese publication the suppliers will begin preparing materials starting Q1 so that production starts up by mid year.
Steve Jobs was quoted in Walter Isaacson’s biography saying about the iTV that “he’d finally cracked it”. Recently, The Wall Street Journal came up with the news that some media executives were being briefed on a new Apple TV that can stream “shows, movies and other various contents”, it also reported on the multi-million dollar investment by Apple in a Sharp plant to manufacture LCD panels for the next generation iPad and iPhone and the iTV too.
The hype surrrounding Apple devices has always been big but lets see if Apple really wows us this time or dissapoints !
