Gionee Elife E6, first full HD smartphone from Gionee gets an Over-The-Air software update. The update started rolling out this evening sometime around the tweet was posted on the official twitter account of Gionee India.

The OTA update is a 353.04MB download and comprises of:
- Updated weather app, AV weather
- GameZone
- Added Saavn, BBM, WeChat, UC Browser
- Gionee Xender
- Guest Mode
- Ignore call without disconnecting
- Power Manager
- Transparent Status Bar
- Pi Paper
- Refreshed Video Player
