SanDisk today on May 5, 2014 announced the launch of their latest offering, 128GB SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I memory card in India. Removable memory do come to some use no matter how much we criticize it. It adds on to the external storage which allows us store more content on our favorite device.
SanDisk the leading storage solutions firm have launched this revolutionary product first time in India. The latest smartphone supporting up to this expandable memory is the HTC One M8 which is currently the only smartphone in this category but we expect to see more in future. This kind of storage cannot be compromised with slow data transfer rates hence it comes with UHS-I technology which is quite known for its speed.
Compared to when microSD cards was first launched with 128MB storage capacity in 2004 to 128GB launched today, SanDisk has observed a growth rate of 1000 times in a decade which is commendable.
