Finally the Rumors are confirmed. Target plans to test Apple centers at 25 of its retail locations this year. Apple products will be featured as “expanded displays” by the American retailing company headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, according to Dustee Jenkins, spokesperson for the retailer.

Right now Target is selling iPads and iPods, It cannot be said if these products will be diversified in the future. But one can expect these mini-store locations to open in two waves, one for this summer and the second for autumn. This move towards retailers is not out of the ordinary as Best Buy locations already feature Apple islands.
