Samsung has advanced its Dual-View lineup by launching the new DV300F which focuses on folks who wat to take quick snaps and upload them on their favourite social networking sites on the go. Despite all the claims that the point-and-shoot cameras will die a slow death, Samsung is not the company to give up on them just yet.
The camera sports a smooth hardware with range of metallic hues to choose from such as mock black, navy, red and silver. Being true to the dual-view line of shooters, the DV300F has two LCD’s with one facing forward to take self portraits with ease, the front 1.5″ LCD has been embedded in the body in a manner which makes it virtually invisible when switched off. The new 16-MP shooter boasts of 5x digital zoom and a 25mm wide angle lens for capturing images. It shoots 720p videos at 30fps. It has built in sharing options that let you send photos and videos to Facebook, Picasa, Flickr and Youtube as well as back them up online or to a hard drive.
The DV300F will hit the stores in March though we’ll surely get to know more of it at CES. Stay Tuned.
